At their April 20th meeting at the Amissville Baptist Church, the Amissville Ruritans were treated to a superb slide show on the Rappahannock elementary school’s seventh grade class trip to Williamsburg last March.
Mrs. Lynn Baines, seventh grade teacher and organizer of the annual trip, and students Elizabeth Scherschel and Mike Dunn led the Ruritans to Jamestown, Jamestown Festival Park, Cape Henry, Dismal Swamp, Williamsburg, the city of Richmond and its fine arts and science museums.
The Ruritans thoroughly enjoyed the first hand explanations by tour guides Mike and Elizabeth. The club reemphasized its support for this fine activity for Rappahannock’s students.
