To date, Pot Ed has erected the higher voltage line and its (»0-70 foot poles through Shenandoah National Park to a hilltop tract overlooking ” Sperryville owned by Rill and Susan Cameron. The new line joins the existing :M.f> KV line carried on poles 20:50 feet high on a right-of-way granted in 1!*2M. The Camerons have challenged Pot Ed’s authority to install the increased number of taller poles with additional crossbars and insulators and higher voltage lines on the old right-of-way.
