Following public hearings on the proposed school budget and federal revenue sharing, Estes, who represents Piedmont District and the village of Sperryville, said he wanted to talk with Water and Sewer Authority chairman Carson Johnson before recommending a cut to the $80,000 included in the proposed budget for the Sperryville sewer. “I know I’m hedging on you,” he told his fellow board members.
