They came from ail over the county. Hie largest, smallest, oldest—even ugliest—arrived by leash ami by lead to compete in the second annual Rappahannock Association for Arts in the Community (RAAC) Pet Show.
Most awards went to the dogs, which was not surprising as canines represented most of the 40-or-so entries. Other notable entrants included Nubian goats Camilla and Meggie. Tinker the big grey cat, Puffy the pigeon, and even the Easter bunny himself (or was it herself?), Mopsy.
Sandra CartwrightBrown, organizer of the Pet Show, was pleased by the turnout. “I was tickled (to see) so many people interested. The object was to have a good time. I think everyone did.”
