The 1984-85 budget includes $53,534 for architectural fees to cover the start «pf an expansion program at the high school centered around a new pre-engineered metal gymnasium and renovation of existing space into classrooms, science labs, larger library and cafeteria and other support facilities. Bird called the capital outlay allocation in the proposed budget “prudent and necessary” to meet state requirements and to plan adequately for educational needs of the future.
