In their own community service, FHA members recently made Easter baskets for each child in Rappahannock’s kindergarten class. The high school students colored eggs for the younger children and staged an Easter egg bunt at the elementary school. FHA tries to plan something special to take to the kindergarten on each holiday, according to Pullen.
The members also help their elders celebrate the holidays.
The sophomore is serving her second term as club president. She thinks the time spent on FHA activities has been well worth while. “I really do enjoy it,” she says. “Our club is very, very small but I think the more activities we get the more members we will have.”
