He called high school students “a fickle group” with some girls dieting and many teens preferring other foods. “We have pretty much a series of menus we've given a test to over the years” he said, indicating high school attendance “is close to the ceiling now” in terms of numbers that could be expected to participate in the lunch pro-, gram.
“We’ve given Judy a couple of years to improve the high school and she certainly has,” he added, crediting the better numbers to school lunch supervisor Judy Burke.
