“I don’t think we should be satisfied with anything less than the best educational system in the state,” Reynolds continued. “I don’t mean the biggest. I mean the best. And I think we can do it if we apply ourselves.”
Nancy Schoppet, RCHS Booster Club president, offered that group’s endorsement of the proposed school budget, particularly allocations for the high school expansion and the index salary scale for teachers.
Speaking on behalf of the Rappahannock County Education Association, Scarlett Dyer supported adoption of the school budget as proposed, citing particular need for the index salary scale, the high school expansion and the new math teacher’s position at RCHS.
