Paul Butler visited his uncle, J. Stant Weaver in Washington last week.
Word has been received here of the death of William (Bill) Colvin of Winchester. His wife, the former Louise Jenkins, is a niece of F.R. Frazier, Sr.
Mrs. Lorainne Thomas of Arizona was here during the weekend and with her sisters, Teresa Brown of Sperryville and Mrs. Virginia Dodson had breakfast Saturday at Jolly Jeff in Culpeper. Afterwards they visited their brother, Charlie Brown at Culpeper Health Care Center and also were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Otis Wharton in Culpeper. Mrs. Thomas left Saturday afternoon to visit her daughter in Delaware.
Mr. and Mrs. C.D. Marshall of Culpeper were Saturday guests of Mrs. Marshall’s mother, Mrs. Ruth Lillard.
Easter luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence W. Jenkins were Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Jenkins, Bill, Lisa and Wendy of Bentonville, Mr. and Mrs. Bernie Jenkins and Randy, Charlotte Gaines and sons, Tommy and Stewart and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Evans, David and Connie.
Mr. and Mrs. Lester McDaniel of Elkwood accompanied Mrs. Robert McDaniel to Charlottesville on Wednesday for her check-up at University Hospital.
Mrs. Marie Marsden of Fairfax spent the Easter holiday weekend with her mother, Mrs. Calvin McCloud.
Ms. Agnes Holdren of Camp Spring, Md. spent the long Easter holiday weekend with her father, F.R. Frazier, Sr. and brother Harold. She returned to her home Monday afternoon. Additional Easter Sunday luncheon guests were Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville.
Stanley Dodson of Inlet spent the Easter holiday weekend with his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Dodson. Miss Becky Knighting of Chester Gap was also a guest in the Dodson home during the weekend.
