On Saturday, April 28, local weaver Stephen Shaffer will open his spring season at “Got It Made” Handwoven Wearables Boutique, located at 4955 St. Elmo Ave., Bethesda, Maryland. Stephen will present his classic suits, skirts and tunic tops in cotton and silk. New spring fashions have been designed by Stephen and his partner Esyule Gamache over the winter and will be presented then.
An outstanding feature of this weaver and seamstress team is the rich colors and textures in the fabric: skirts of silks and cottons in warm white, azure blue, peach, cocoa and pale blue.
