skirt and chapel length train were rimmed in a narrow border of satin and pearls. Highlighting the shoulder line were flat bows with strands of seed pearls forming the knot. Her full length veil of illusion rimmed in pearls fell from a lace tiara. Motifs of lace were appliqued on the lower part of the illusion. She carried a cascade of white roses, stephanotis and hoya blossom.
Ann Cannon Powell of Lancaster, New Hampshire was Matron of Honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Marti Cannon of Castleton, sister-in-law of the bride, Cindy Kelly of Amissville, Sara Lowe of Roseland, and Tammy Ponton of Greenbelt, Maryland. Bethany Powell, niece of the bride, served as junior bridesmaid. They all wore floor lengths gowns of azalea silk moire and carried bouquets of fresh azaleas and gardenias.
