Amanda enjoyed an evening out at the Pizza Hut in Front Royal on Saturday.

Mrs. D.C. Welling and children, Judith, Anne and David of Gales Ferry, Connecticut are expected to arrive Monday, July 1 to spend several weeks as guests of her mother, Mrs. Jean B. Moffett and Mr. and Mrs. William F. Moffett III and children, Holly and Melanie.

Mr. and Mrs. Auh^ov Keyser entertained Mr. and Mrs Joseph Finnerty for dinner Friday evening at Brookside near Luray.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert J. Slaughter of Leesburg stopped by on Sunday evening for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Keyser at The Oaks.

Mike Ralph, formerly of Flint Hill and now from Washington, D.C. spent from Thursday until Sunday in the Edward M. Clark home as guests of Richie and Edie Eastham.

Theresa Eppard spent Sunday night and Monday morning in the Clark home.

Mike, Theresa and Edie along with the group from Washington Baptist Church left for camp and will return on Friday.

Mrs. John (Frances) Eubank entered Warren Memorial Hospital on Monday for surgery. Cards and prayers from her friends will be greatly appreciated.

The Rappahannock Cancer Crusade is on, so dig deeply when yours truly comes by to collect from the Fodderstack Road residents.

Mrs. Jean Alther of the Washington Ladies Auxliary will be calling people from the Hampton District within the next week for baked goods for the annual 4th of July bake sale. Any donation of a cake, pie or money will be greatly appreciated. Proceeds will benefit the new kitchen at the fire hall.

The Ladies Auxiliary will also have hot dogs and ice tea. The Thrift Shop will be open on the 4th.
