Birthday wishes are extended to Sarah C. Brown this week so yours truly baked a birthday cake for our daughter and invited the rest of the family over for cake and ice cream Monday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. William E. Settle, Jimmie Settle and William III spent from Tuesday until Thursday as guests of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Moulis and family at Silver Spring, Md. The Settles and Moulis attended the New York and Baltimore baseball game at the Baltimore Stadium on Wednesday night. Mrs. Moulis is the Settle’s daughter.
Mrs. Emily Fincham is a patient in Warren Memorial Hospital. She is visited daily by her family.
Miss Angela Smith, daughter of Paul and Alice Smith of Albany, Georgia is spending the summer with her grandmother Mrs. Alice R. Wood.
Sunday guests of Mrs. Mattie Ball Fletcher were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Faulkner of Orange. Mrs. Faulkner is Mrs. Fletcher’s granddaughter.
Mrs. E.M. Jones entertained for dinner Saturday night and her guests were her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ned Jones, Jr., and children Kristen and Will of Centreville and Mrs. Garnet Grossett of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Miss Mary Miller Wood accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Frank Donald of Castletop to Lowesville on Saturday for the dedication of the W.M.U. Camp.
Mike and Louise Paulovick of Springfield had dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley Sunday. Later they drove up to the Skyline Drive and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.
We are glad to hear of Mrs. Jessie Miller Turner being back home after her stay in Fauquier Hospital. We all wish you a speedy recovery, Mrs. Turner.
