The exposure to a different culture, teaching techniques and curriculum will make having to take care of details worth it all to Currie. “I hope to laugh a lot in class because there will be a lot of differences,” Currie said.
Riding Lessons Offered
The Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center, Front Royal, is offering Hunt Seat Riding lessons to the public from July 1 to August 24. Lessons will be taught for all levels of riding from complete novice to experienced horseman. Groups will be determined by the instructor based on skills and experience. Adults will te taught separately from youth.
Students will learn basic riding skills, horse care, equine theory, safety, trail riding and equitation.
One hour lessons are offered Monday through Friday in the evening and Saturday mornings Each class will meet once a week. The cost for eight weeks of lessons is $60.
