Among those at Kings Dominion on Thursday were Mrs. Ruth Clark, Mrs. Sarah Brown, and Amanda, Edie Eastham, Mark Shipman, and Suzie Larimer of Amissville. We all had a wonderful day with all the great rides and ended the day by eating a cone of Smurf ice cream (blue). You should try it some time if ever you are there. It is really a great place to a spend a fun day.
Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown and daughter Amanda joined Mr. and Mrs. James Beatty and son Randy of Front Royal for a weekend of camping at Matthews Arm on the Skyline Drive. Sarah said they saw lots of deer, some would come up to you and eat right out of your hand. From all reports they had a great, cool weekend.
Paul Blevins left Sunday for a three-week business trip for his insurance company in Columbus, Ohio.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Blevins’ niece, Patricia Blevins of Arlington, is spending a week with the Blevins family.
