Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley and Mrs. Weakley’s sister Mrs. Margaret Carroll of Arlington, their houseguest this week, had dinner at Brookside on Tuesday evening enroute to Luray to visit Mr. Weakley’s aunt Mrs. Carlton Dulaney and her brother Lawrence Huffman. Mr. and Mrs. Weakley accompanied Mrs. Carroll to her home in Arlington on Thursday.
I want to report also that I finally got around to collecting for the Cancer Crusade on Fodderstack Road, and thank you all who donated.
Mr. and Mrs. George Raymond Jenkins and daughter, Mrs. Susan Fitzgerald, and her children, Jonathan and Sarah, all of Suffolk, were weekend guests of George Jenkins’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Jenkins of Sperryville. Mrs. Mary V. Updike and Miss Phyllis Vemer were dinner guests Sunday at the Jenkins home.
Mrs. Henry M. Keyser returned Monday from a week’s visit in Lynnfield, Mass., and Mt. Desert Island, Maine.
