Tiring of the city life, Turner came home and currently lives in Gid Brown Hollow.
Turner returned to Rappahannock “for the beauty, of course,” he says, adding that life here is “not the fast-paced life as in Richmond; it’s more laid back.”
The beauty of the county is but one reason for Turner to return to Rappahannock. Turner, 25, is engaged to Laurie Reville, a social worker with the Rappahannock Welfare Office. They have set a September 14 wedding date.
In the meantime, Turner will be photographing the people and places that make this Rappahannock County.
“Nature shooting is a hobby of mine,” Turner said. “That’s what I’d really like to do to make money.”
