Mrs. Anna Fincham is spending some time with Mrs. Magdalene Dwyer.
Bill Harrison returned home last Thursday from Culpeper Memorial Hospital after having hip surgery as the result of a fall from his house roof during the windstorm.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer accompanied by Mrs. Roy L. Reeve and Mrs. B. M. Varner spent last week on the Outer Banks in North Carolina.
Mr. and Mrs. Haywood Griffith and daughter Peggy of Front Royal visited Mrs. Nina Brown Sunday afternoon.
Last Wednesday, Mrs. Mary Quaintance and Mrs. Julia Wood took Karmon Sanford of Orange to Charlottesville on a shopping spree for her 13th birthday. Mrs. D. Lyle Miller, Jr., and Miss Caroline Ellis, also of Orange, joined them for dinner at The Gourmet as guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Sanford. Lyle Sanford of San Antonio, Texas, was a luncheon guest Monday of his aunt, Mrs. Quaintance.
Mrs. Brown Miller returned last Tuesday from New Canaan, Conn., after being with her grandsons, Mike and Mark Murphy, while their parents Mr. and Mrs. Joe Murphy were on a tour of Scotland, Ireland and England. Mrs. Miller attended the Heizer family reunion on Saturday at the old home place at Middlebrook.
Mrs. Amy L. Gore of Delaware was a weekend guest of Mrs. Frances Thornton. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Gore and family, also of Delaware, joined them for dinner.
