Greetings
York for the Shenandoah Valley 10 years ago.
It took me a short time before I realized what living in the Valley is like. You can leave your keys in your car without worrying about somebody stealing your wheels.
You don’t have to dead-bolt the front door to your house.
At the bowling alley, you don’t have to leave your street shoes as a deposit for the rentals.
Here, you don’t have to worry when you pass someone alongside the road. That person will just wish you a good afternoon and not say, “stick’em up,” which is usually followed by a fist fight and somebody running away with a bloody nose.
Without sounding too much like a resume, I first came to the Shenandoah Valley to attend what was then called Madison College.
