Miss Sandy Dodson of Sperryville accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Campbell to the Flint Hill firemen’s parade on Thursday evening.
Mr.and Mrs. Richard Gardener of Baltimore, Md., were weekend guests of Mrs. Gardener’s brother and sisterin-law, Mr. and Mrs. Luther Campbell of Amissville. On Saturday evening the Luther Campbells entertained at a cookout for the Gardeners and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Bailey and children of Manassas.
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Campbell were married- 48 years ago on August 2. On Sunday two of their daughters surprised them with a catered dinner and a large anniversary cake. The daughters and families giving their parents this special treat were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gardener of Baltimore, Md., and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Bailey and daughter Kirsten and friend Tammy of Manassas.
