Dennis shared the fun with 4-H’ers from 12 other counties as representatives of Rappahannock at the Performing Arts Holiday Show held at Fauquier’s Cedar Lee Junior High School.
Don Allen Deal and Francis Updike of Culpeper and Lyle Marvin Updike of Omaha, Nebraska, have been selected for the 1979 edition of Outstanding Young Men of America. Both Updikes are the sons of Mr. and Mrs. John Updike of Washington. Deal is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Deal of Sperryville.
