If elected Nov. 5, Republican gubernatorial nominee Wyatt B. Durrette says he will consider a plan to systematically “terminate” incompetent public school teachers.
But the 47-year-old candidate noted such a plan would not be a campaign issue because the removal procedure is rife with “technical” questions he isn’t yet prepared to address.
