Tears were shed at the airport as Gaby Ringleff, the Helmers’ foreign exchange student, left July 9 to go back to Germany. She will be missed by her American friends in Rappahannock County. — AUF WIEDERSEHEN!!!
Chris Moyles, son of Steve and Mitch Hostetter, just returned from two weeks of fun and study at the University of Virginia, which was provided by the Gifted and Talented Program of Rappahannock County. Chris says that the food was—well, sort of so-so, and his favorite time was his afternoon class, American Spies, with the instructor, a retired CIA agent, telling of his adventures. Chris was real happy to be in the same dormitory as his Rappahannock friend David Mosher of Battle Mountain. Both boys will be 8th grade students at Rappahannock County High School this fall.
