Anna V. Dodson
Anna Virginia Dodson, 64, of Luray, formerly of Front Royal, died Thursday, September 4 at the Page Memorial Hospital in Luray.
Mrs. Dodson was bom October 1, 1921, in Sperryville, daughter of the late Samuel Jackson and Mittie Catherine Rutherford Frye. She was a retired presser. Her first husband, Raymond Lee Clark, died in 1943.
She is survived by her husband, Lester 0. Dodson of Front Royal; one son, Willie R. Clark of Elkton; two daughters, Marie Elkins and Betty Jean Yowell, both of Front Royal; one sister, Ella Atkins of Luray; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, September 7 at the Bradley Funeral Home, Luray by the Pastor Max Fisher, with graveside services at the Sperryville Cemetery in Rappahannock County.
Bradley Funeral Home of Luray was in charge of the arrangements.
