To the editor:
As an individual with 100 percent support from every home owner (without state road maintenance) in Randle Ridge Subdivision I have, for just over a year, been trying to get state maintenance for our roads.
In governor Baliles’ inaugural speech, be emphasized the positive uses of state government to upgrade education and to weed out inequities in public life.
We in Randle Ridge for the past 25 years, and all other areas in the state, where roads are open to the public, but not state maintained, are most certainly victims of “inequity in public life.” I might also add, and “quite prolonged.”
Up to this point I have not accepted defeat. So far, every avenue of persuit has resulted in negative progress, until last Friday.
