The Rappahannock County High School cross country team has returned in force this season. Seven of the top eight runners from last season are back on the trails this fall.
Seniors Marley Hay, Jonathan Watson, John Dodson and Neil Burke, the top four team members last year, appear ready to repeat their ranking this season, according to cross country coach Ann Spieker. Rodney Grimsley, Tom Taylor, Tony Clark, Dan Herman and Greg Daczewitz are also showing signs indicating an excellent year may be ahead for them, she said.
