W. C. Dennis of Jackson, S. C., returned to his home on Sunday after spending a few days with Mrs. Robert Nethers and his daughter Debbie Dennis at Huntly and other relatives in the area. He was accompanied to the Charlottesville airport on Sunday by his daughter.
Visiting Mrs. Nethers during his stay were Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey Jr., Mrs. Dorothy Lewis, Charles Corder Jr., Karen Corder, Heather Aylor, Mr. and Mrs. Ranny Aylor and Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Nethers.
Phil Eastham of Hume was a recent guest of Mrs. Nethers.
The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will have worship services on Sunday, Nov. 23, at 11:15 a.m. Rev. Merlin Shorb, pastor, invites the public to attend.
The Administrative Board of the Flint Hill United Methodist Church met at the parsonage on Monday with Merlin and Joy Shorb. Attending were Flo and Earl Duvall, Emory and Gaynelle Russell, Russie Miller, Moe and Evelyn Walker, John and Linda Miller, Alice Pullen and Mary Frances Bywaters.
