The Virginia Defense Force is now forming in the area. Everyone is welcome and the VADF is open to all, both men and women. Age is no factor as young and old can serve. No physical or medical exam is required. No going away for basic training and enlistment is for an indefinite time.
The VADF is an all volunteer military outfit. It drills one four hour period each month. The mission of the VADF is to maintain law and order, suppress riots or insurrections
