Delegate Raymond R. “Andy” Guest Jr. (R-Warren) has received a copy of the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission’s report on Deinstitutionalization and Community Services which was prepared for presentation to the Commission on Deinstitutionalization. This report is available for inspection in Delegate Guest’s Legislative Office located in Room 450, 27 South Royal Avenue, Front Royal.

Del. Guest also announced that his Front Royal office will close at noon on Nov. 26 in observance, of Thanksgiving. The office will reopen , Monday, Dec. L ‘Wfr"'yv ”

GCLC host its first

Christmas bazaar

Santa will be arriving at the Child Care and Learning Center Saturday, December 6, from 10 a.m. to noon to help celebrate the Center’s first Christmas bazaar. Frank and Esther Schmidt of Franklin Photographers will be donating their skills to photograph the children with Santa (in memory of Matthias Beck). The pictures will cost $5 each.

A Children’s Shopping Room will be available so children can shop for their families. All items will be under $1 and gift wrapped for the child.

A brass crib with bedding and a farm table will be given away. The winner need not be present.

All proceeds go to the Center’s scholarship and operational funds. If anyone is interested in donating items please contact Marsha Thompson, chairperson, at 987-8530 or the Child Care and Learning Center at 675-3237.
