The Special Education Advisory Committee for the Rappahannock County Public Schools will meet Thursday, Dec. 4, at 7 p.m. at the School Board office. The purpose of the meeting is to review the annual special education plan and application for federal funding. All meetings are open to the public.
The special education plan includes policies and procedures for all special education programs. The application for federal funding describes activities which supplement special education provided by state and local sources.
The document will be available for public inspection from Dec. 1 until Jan. 9 at the School Board office from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Comments regarding the plan must be submitted in writing to Pamela M. Rowe, Coordinator of Special Services, by Jan. 9, 1987. The plan will be submitted to the School Board on Jan. 13 for final approval.
