Holiday decorating class

A holiday decorating and wreath making class will be held Saturday, Dec. 13, from 1 to 4:30 at Faith Mountain in Sperryville.

The class will include lecture, “hands-on” workshop, and idea generating discussion. Decorations to be covered are 18th Century Williamsburg Apple Cone, Candlestick Arrangement, Kissing Ball, Herb Wreath, bow making and much more. The cost for the class is $30, including all materials. Everyone will make one wreath to take home. The class has limited enrollment, therefore advance registration is required. Parent Advisory Council to meet

A meeting of the Chapter I Parent Advisory Council will be held Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. at the School Board office to review the Chapter I reading and math programs at the Rappahannock County Elementary School. All meetings are open to the public.

Marriage seminar

A marriage seminar will be held at Family Worship Center in Washington Nov. 21-23. The Friday and Saturday sessions will begin at 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday class will begin at 7 p.m. Rev. Andy Smith will be the instructor and all married couples in the area are invited to attend the free seminar. A nursery will be provided. For additional information call 987-8505.

Christmas Show opening

at Middle Street

The public is invited to celebrate the holidays by attending the opening of Middle Street Gallery’s Christmas Show Saturday, Dec. 6, from 5 until 10 p.m. (changed from Nov. 29). The display will include original cards, hand-made decorations, prints, paintings, photographs, jewelry, baskets, and sculpture.
