Program Chairman Mrs. Douglas Fairfax introduced Mrs. James
Weaver who presented a program on “Gleanings from England,” a discussion of the Peyton reunion which she attended in England recently. The Peyton family dates back to the 15th century. Not only was the program enlightening but the its preparation provided major entertainment for the members.
It was noted that Mrs. Joseph Fray was in attendance at the DAR’s first celebration of Armistice Day in Washington, D. C. She gave an extemporaneous description of that first event.

Mark and Lynn Leischner are the proud parents of an infant daughter, Laura Elizabeth, bom on Sept. 30 at the Fairfax County Hospital.
Grandparents of the baby are Mr. and Mrs. William Leischner of Alexandria and Mr. and Mrs. Art Snow of San Antonio, Texas.
