Ernest Peyton

Ernest Peyton, 72, of Leesburg, formerly of Slate Mills, died November 3 at The Towers in Charlottesville. A native of Rappahannock County, he was a retired farm worker.

He is survived by a brother Herbert Peyton of Culpeper, two sisters, Mary Lee Carpenter of Warsaw, N. Y., and Katharine Kelleher of Rochester, N. Y., and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was conducted November 7 in the family section of the Nazareth Baptist Church Cemetery, Boston, by Rev. Howard Frye of Huntly.
