The Conyers House
The Conyers House invites the public to attend an elegant Christmas tea and candlelight tour on Sundays, Dec. 21 and 28. Each of the 45 windows in the 18th century four story farmhouse is aglow with a welcoming Christmas light.
The Conyers House, the first and oldest country inn in Rappahannock County, is located on Slate Mills Road at the southern tip of the county.
The cost of the tea and tour is $6.50 per person and the time is from 2 to 5 p.m. Reservations can be made by calling 703-987-8025.

Five Forks Regular Baptist Church on Rt. 621 in Woodville will be having a special service on Christmas Eve at 5:30 p.m. There will be a candlelight service and partaking of the Lord’s Supper. Pastor Carl Menefee and the congregation invite all to take time for this special observance.

A play entitled “The Little Living Christmas Tree” will be presented at Gid Brown Bible Church near Washington on Sunday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m. The public is invited.
Candlelight service
at Bethel Baptist
The youth department and Sunday School of the Bethel Baptist Church, Amissville, will hold a candlelight service on Dec. 28 at 6 p.m. at the church. The featured singers for the evening will be the Nova Massed Choir under the leadership of Skip Carter of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Warrenton.
