Christmas
closings
The following businesses and county offices will have special hours during the Christmas season.
The Treasurer’s Office, Commissioner of Revenue, General District Court and Registrar’s Office will close at noon Wednesday, Dec. 24, and will be closed Dec. 25 and 26.
The Rappahannock National Bank will close at noon Dec. 24 and will be closed Dec. 25. The Clerk’s Office, Zoning Office and the Rappahannock Health Department will be closed Dec. 25 and 26 as will the Family Guidance Services. In case of an emergency, clinic staff may be reached by calling 675-3329.
The Farmers & Merchants Bank will close at noon Dec. 24 and will be closed Dec. 25. They will be open until noon Dec. 26. The Social Services Department will be closed Dec. 25. The Rappahannock Library will close at noon Dec. 24 and will be closed through the 28th, reopening Monday, Dec. 29.
Rappahannock public schools will close at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 19, and will reopen for regular school hours on Jan. 5.
The Rappahannock News will have an early advertising and editorial deadline of noon Monday, Dec.
The deadline for advertising in the Horse & Farm Directory will be Friday, Dec. 19, at noon. Combo advertising will have a deadline of Friday at 4 p.m.
The Rappahannock News offices will close at 3 p.m. Dec. 24 and will reopen for regular business hours' Dec. 26.
