Delegate Alson H. Smith, of Winchester, will address the monthly meeting of the Democratic Legislative District breakfast at the
Holiday Inn in Culpeper, at 9:|$0 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 20.
Delegate Smith has represented the 29th Legislative District in the Virginia General Assembly since 1974. His district consists of Frederick County and the City of Winchester.
He also serves as chairman of the Mining and Mineral Resources Committee, and is a member of the Corporations, Banking and Insurance Committee and the Conservation and Natural Resources Committee.
His special committee assignments include serving on the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission (JLARC) and representing Virginia on the National Conference of State Legislators.
The legislative breakfast, which is open to the public, is a cooperative effort of the Democratic Committees of the counties of Culpeper, Greene, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock.
