The School Board’s scheduled hearing for public input on next year’s school budget appeared to have caught the public unawares last Tuesday night. There were no representatives from the Rappahannock County Education Association and the few parents who spoke were all present for other business.
In the single letter received, Vickie Eastham requested that the pay scale for substitute teachers be upgraded. Seventh grade science teacher Lynne Baines asked that French be offered at the high school.
