“I can spot children who’ve been abused by the questions they ask,” continued Mrs. Williams, who designed and taught Falls Church’s child safety program. She reminded the school board that pedophiles "exist everywhere,” recalling incidents involving a doctor in Falls Church and a school psychologist in Fairfax. “We have a responsibility to protect our children from this . . . We must teach our children how’. to prevent dangers from happening to themselves, to make good choices and to feel good about themselves in the process.”
“I’d like to see it incorporated in a curriculum on child safety so that it’s not a fanfare type of thing,” Mrs. Reeve said.
