The fields of Monroe’s 550acre estate will be open from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 20 and 21, for visitors to cut their own Christmas trees. Tree hunters should bring their own tools. No fee is charged, but a tax-deductible donation is requested.
Afternoons of holiday song and cider will follow Christmas. From Dec. 27-30, carols anil madrigals will be sung and cider served in Monroe’s dining room, beginning at 4 p.m. Tickets sold at the .door are $5 for adults and $2 for children 2-11.
