The Rappahannock County Democratic Committee will hold a reorganizational caucus (mass meeting) on Friday, Dec. 4, beginning at ‘J 7:30 p.m. in the court room of the Rappahannock County Courthouse, ji Washington, for the purpose of electing members and officers of the || Democratic Committee of Rappahannock County who will serve a twoyear term, beginning January 1,1988.

Origami workshop

An origami (Japanese paper folding) workshop for ages 10 to adul ',J t will be held at the Middle St. Gallery on Saturday, Dec. 12, from 1-3 i p.m. Students will learn to make paper cranes, frogs, boats, etc. as ij well as attempt the most complex origami creation, the crab. Mrs. Kilpatrick to sigh cookbook

Marie Pietri Kilpatrick will be at Rush River Company on Gay Street in Washington Sunday, Dec. 6, from 2 to 4 p.m. to sign copies of ! her new cookbook. “A Pinch of This and a Soupcon of That” combines J her personal recipe collection with anecdotes, bits of Kilpatrick family ' history and lessons in the culinary arts. A foreword by columnist (and ] husband) James J. Kilpatrick rounds oqt the collection. “A Pinch of > This and a Soupcon of That” will be on sale at Rush River. !

Wakefield science fair

Wakefield School will hold its annual science fair this week. The ! event, which is open to the public, features projects done by students 1 in grades K-12. The fair will be open on Thursday, Dec. 3, from 7-9 ! p.m. and on Friday, Dec. 4, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 1

Spaghetti dinner scheduled

The annual spaghetti dinner will be held at the Rappahannock El- ' ementary School on Tuesday, Dec. 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. Prices are $5, ! all you can eat; $4, adult single serving, $3, child single serving under | 10 years of age. Proceeds will benefit the seventh grade class trip. Fol- ■ lowing the dinner the Christmas musical will be presented at 7:30 p. m. J in the auditorium. Christmas bazaar at CCLC

Child Care and Learning Center will sponsor a Christmas bazaar ' this weekend, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 1-5 p.m Sunday. J Saturday will feature a visit from Santa (10 a.m.-l p.m.) with photos • available, and lunch and an original Christmas puppet production from Maggie Rogers at 2 p.m. There will be gifts and crafts for sale, a room 1 for kids-only shopping and a discount on Christmas trees at the O’Mearas for those mating a contribution.
