; Player evaluations for team assignments
for the youth basketball league will be held Dec. 5 and 12. The program is sponsored by the Warrenton-Fauquier Optimist Club ai)d the Fauquier County Parks and Recreation Department, and any child in grades 1-12 may participate. ! Player evaluations are scheduled for Dec. 5 at Taylor Junior High School and Dec. 12 at Warrenton Junior High School. Players in grades 4-6 should report between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.; grades 7-9, between 1 and 3 p.m., and grades 19-12, between 3 and 5 p.m. Players need attend only one of the evaluation sessions, any time between the hpurs listed.
Practices and games will be held oh Saturdays, from Jan. 9 through March 12. Registration for the program will be accepted by mail or in plerson at the Fauquier County Parks and Recreation Department offices, 62 Culpeper St., Warrenton, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
