Roy Jackson
Roy Jackson of New Brunswick, N.J., formerly of Culpeper, died Nov. 23 at New Brunswick. He is survived by his mother Mrs. Ida Jackson of Culpeper, an uncle, three aunts and a number of Other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted Dec. 1 at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Woodville by the Rev. Howard Frye of Huntly. Burial was in the family section of the church cemetery in Woodville.
Bernard Gough Jr.
Bernard L. Gough Jr., 57, ot Amissville, died Nov. 29 at the Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton. He was employed by Augusta Lumber Co.
A native of Ivy, Albemarle County, he was the son of Mrs. Daisy Bragg of Culpeper and the late Bernard Lee Gough. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving with his mother are his wife Mrs. Elizabeth Woodward Gough, two sons, Barry G. Gough and James D. Gough, and a daughter Verilyn Gough,, all of Amissville, six sisters, Anna Belle Mainford of Charlottesville, Nora Provoyeur of Woonsocket, R.I., Audrey Brown of Hanover, Pa., Bea Gough, Laura Lee Gough and Joyce Chumley, all of Culpeper, five brothers, Dale Gough of Stevensburg, Fred Gough of Van Buren, Ark., Waring Gough of Rapidan, Roger Gough of Culpeper and Curtis Gough of Madison, and three grandchildren, Phyllis Gough, James David Gough Jr. and Michael Douglas Stringfellow, all of Amissville.
A funeral service will be conducted Dec. 3 at 2 p.m., at Geest Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper, with interment at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton.
