Rappahannock Elementary
School will host its annual Christmas program on Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 8 p.m. Students from second, third, fourth and seventh grades will participate in a musical play directed by Judy Bomberger, elementary music teacher. Everyone, with or without children in school, is invited to attend.
Lindsay Willoughby-Green Eastham has been cited for top academic achievement at Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal, following the completion of the first grading period for the current session at the college preparatory institution. Lindsay, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Eastham of Ben Venue, compiled a 3.2 grade-point average on a 4.00 system and was included on the Academy's second Honor Roll.

Mrs. Paul “Russie” Miller
was honored with her own special day last Sunday by the choir and congregation of Flint Hill United Methodist Church where she’s been the organist for 25 years. After opening the service as usual, Rev. Merlin Shorb announced the Thanksgiving surprise, declaring it Russie Miller Day.
The Chester Gap Ladies Auxiliary will sponsor a community Christmas dinner on Sunday, Dec. 12, at 2 p.m. at the fire hall.
