Membership cards for the 198889 season of the Community Concert Association will be mailed in the immediate future. The new series opens with the performance of the Alexandria Quintet on Saturday, Oct. 29th at 8 p.m. in the Culpeper County High School auditorium. Featuring the combined sound of harp, flute, and strings, this ensemble of instrumental artists has a wealth of repertoire that includes the works of Handel, Rossini, Debussy, and Mozart.
“We are very pleased with the response to this year’s membership drive,” said Greg Yates, Association President, “and will, of course, welcome additional subscribers at any time.” Membership in the Association, which is the only way to attend the concerts, is still available for $21, adult; $6, student; $48, family;
