To the editor:
I would like to thank all those who participated in the first recycling day held this past Saturday at the county Park. A total of 300 pounds of glass, approximately 20 pounds of aluminum and 500 pounds of newspaper were collected. A big thank you to Chuck Stinnett, President of Piedmont Recycling, who also helped to make our first effort such a success!
