Bessie G. Bailey
Bessie Gay Bailey, 73, of Rixeyville, died Sept. 14 in the Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Bailey was born May 6, 1925, in Rappahannock County, the daughter of the late Thomas Booten and Emily Burke Dwyer. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Culpeper. *
Surviving are her husband, Elmer Bailey; two daughters, Helen Wolfe, Glen Bumie, Md. and Anna Wickline, Culpeper; three sons, Charles Bailey, Culpeper, Thomas Bailey, Remington and Elmer Bailey Jr., Ashland; one stepson, Edward Bailey, Culpeper; one stepdaughter, Betty McCome, Lexington; one sister, Lillie Pullen, Sperryville; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
