In a photo on page 2 of the Sept. 8 issue, one of the Amissville VFD members is incorrectly identified. He is Rob Mangrum, not Wesley Jenkins.
In the Aug. 18 issue of the Rappahannock Neu>s, a story about service upgrades being implemented by Central Telephone Co. of Virginia (Centel) in the Town of Washington stated that new selectors being installed will triple the number of these switchers from 10 to 30. The number will actually be increased by 30, to a total of 40.
