“The nourished minds” which will result from that crop “will be with us for a long time to come . . . We are the benefactors of the education these children will receive in this building,” Mrs. Massie said. Enjoy “the fruits of our inited effort for education,” she urged those who were touring the newly dedicated high school with guides from the RCHS Honor Society.
And if goosebumps weren’t already raised by the oratory, they came with the musical tributes from RCHS graduates Jimmy Freeman and Marie Davis. As Supervisor Mike Massie put it, “it makes you proud to be from Rappahannock.”
