His carvings are done in wood, stone or bone. His wife, Virginia, is a Navajo silversmith. She will be demonstrating silver jewelry making. Their 18 year old son, Hrnest Thomas, is a Champion Fancy Dancer and their 17 year old son, Antonio Lorenzo, is a Champion Northern Traditional Dancer.
