Various versions of influenza have been sweeping through the county recently — particularly through the schools. At the high school, where exams were being held as the first semester ended, the problem was especially troublesome.
Most students and teachers tried to make it to school for the three days of exams, Thursday and Friday, Jan. 26 and 27 and Monday, Jan. 30, but not all made it, and some obviously went through the ordeal while they were sick.
